Volunteering with Connecting Carers

We are looking to expand our services and want to set up projects that can involve more volunteers.

  Project 1 - Newsletter

 The aim of this project is to be carer led and include articles and information relevant to carers in the Highlands.  It will be fun, informative and will be sent out via email or post.   This will enable carers to be better involved and informed in matters that affect their caring role.

 Would you like to join us as a reporter, photo contributor, online journalist?

Project 2 · Conference Calling

 This service can bring together a group of carers from all over the Highlands via the telephone.  A trained administrator will be on the phone oversee the call.  It will be open to members only and strict rules will be in place for privacy and confidentiality.

This will enable carers from across Highland to keep in touch and build up a sense of community; Carers can learn from and support each other from even the most remote locations, leading them to feel less isolated and alone.
